Ms. Desiree Sweeney

B.A. /  MSW /  CCPT

 

Desiree Sweeney graduated in 1992 from Adelphi University with her Master’s of Social Work.  She is both a certified School Social Worker and  Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Connecticut.  She began her career just down the road at Elmcrest Psychiatric Hospital from 1993-1996 working in the children’s partial hospital program.  She then was employed at the Institute of Living’s Grace Webb School in both Hartford and Cheshire from 1996-2008, working with students in grades K-12.  She began working for the East Hampton Public Schools in 2008 as the school social worker at EHHS.  She worked one day a week at Center School for 6 years and now shares her time with the high school and middle school.  She provides individual/group counseling, social skills training, and crisis intervention to the students in the district, as well as counseling to special education students/504 students at both schools she services.

Mrs. Robin Wilks

B.A. / M.S. / N.C.S.P.

 

Robin Wilks graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 2001 with her Master's of Science and 6th Year Professional Diploma in School Psychology. She also holds a national certification in school psychology. Robin was employed as a school psychologist in a K-5 elementary school in Waterbury, Connecticut for six years before moving with her husband to East Hampton. She has provided her expertise on psychological evaluations for special education and 504 services, has provided counseling of individuals and groups, assists in crisis intervention, and is skilled at developing behavior plans and/or interventions for students in need for the past twelve years as a school psychologist at EHHS.
